Tubular selvedges

Tubular selvedge looks similar to an applied i-cord, but it is worked simultaneously with the rest of your piece. It is identical on both sides of the fabric.





You can purl or knit the last stitch of a row. Both methods produce practically identical edges.

1.
At the beginning of a row: sl1 wyif, k1.
At the end of a row: sl1 wyif, k1.

2.
At the beginning of a row: sl1 wyif, k1.
At the end of a row: sl1 wyif, p1.
